Associate, Application Support Analyst
Duties: Develop and document disaster-recovery plans and participate in testing to ensure the environment is recoverable within pre-determined SLAs. Document the on boarding procedures which include infrastructure, support procedures, application setup, monitoring and configuration into AWM LOB. Participate in weekly meetings with the technology and operational teams to prioritize the productions fixes based on the analysis and impact. Responsible for Creating/Configuring monitoring tools and automate proactive monitoring tasks using Splunk and Dynatrace. Migrate the existing applications running in traditional infrastructure into GAIA which is a private cloud for the organization. Automation of the operational procedures wherever applicable and thus providing the value addition to the business and operations . Troubleshoot and provide the technical solution for complex production issues. Work closely with development teams and supporting technology groups to drive improvements and problem resolution. Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting is in place for the applications, batch job runs as well as track capacity and performance monitoring.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field plus 5 years of experience in application development and support, or related experience OR Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field plus 2 years of experience in application development and support, or related experience.

* Skills required: Java/J2EE application development experience. Experience providing production support, including providing technical solutions for complex production issues. Experience documenting onboarding procedures including infrastructure and support procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of Scheduling, monitoring and reporting tools including Autosys and Control M. Experience writing batches and scripts in Perl, Shell, and Bash. Experience using performance and production management tools including Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics. Experience with IT services management tools and overall coordination of the incident management process. Experience implementing business continuity and disaster recovery programs. Experience using SQL to write optimal queries for various data retrieval scenarios. Experience with Oracle, Sybase and DB2. Must have ITIL V3 Foundation certification. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
