Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build, automate, manage and maintain efficient, supportable, end user compute environments:
  • Primary focus on automation of tasks (i.e. evaluate all manual processes as it relates to desktop engineering and propose and implement automation strategies through scripting, automated processes)
  • Windows Desktop Engineering (i.e. workstation, VDI and laptops)
  • Contribute to the future state of virtualized Citrix windows deployments in the enterprise through the creation of processes and technology that simplify the user experience
  • Create, build images & manage in-place upgrades
  • Contribute to creation of state of the art, non-intrusive update processes for users
  • Automated Deployment, Configuration & Patch Management
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to such problems
  • Develop and create processes to automate everything related to the desktop experience, with a constant mindset of improving the user experience while reducing the hands-on management of user's desktop assets
  • Participate in engineering architectural strategy, including technology standardization and modernization
  • Continuous collaboration with other functional groups to identify and implement optimal technical solutions
  • Provide level 3 support for end user related incidents and problems


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Expert in PowerShell, Power CLI
  • Excellent support and troubleshooting skills on all windows OS platforms
  • Windows Desktop (7 & 10) Guru (deployment, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting)
  • In-depth understanding of Active Directory & GPO
  • Excellent in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with various design and architectural standards
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft SCCM, SCOM, SQL. System Center Orchestrator a plus
  • Experienced with VMware ESXi
  • Agile deployment methodologies a plus
