We are seeking an Analyst to join IMD Corporate Controllers specifically supporting the Expense Analysis Group (EAG). The EAG supports the Private Wealth Management business including implementing and controlling the policies and procedures affecting over 500 wealth advisors globally.


  • Develop a broad understanding of the Global Private Wealth Management (PWM) business and the related monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements of this growing and dynamic business.
  • Work closely with PWM Management, Operations and Technology to provide tactical and strategic business solutions
  • Develop and maintain a strong teamwork approach while providing business solutions.
  • Calculate variable expenses and book to the firm's G/L including commissions, equity amortizations and bonus accruals.
  • Weekly, Monthly and Annual variable expense projections.
  • Monthly balance sheet substantiation and quarterly Sox assessments.
  • Ad hoc reporting requirements and business analysis for compliance, legal and PWM management.
  • 2 to 3+ years work experience
  • Strong accounting and/or finance background, CPA preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed/deadline oriented
  • Excellent organizational and multi task skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Researcher / problem solver / critical thinker / able to grasp new concepts
  • Advance PC skills, specifically MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Must be flexible and adopt to change
  • Inquisitive and enthusiastic
  • Able to work in a team under pressure
