Firm Wide Collateral Solutions Business Analyst

As an experienced professional in Business Analysis, you'll shape the technology solutions that drive strategic initiatives across the firm. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, and translate that insight into high-quality solutions. In addition to working with the development team to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. While your role requires deep technological skills - including expertise in everything from data management to functional design - it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. You'll offer clear guidance and feedback to your Business Analysis colleagues, while promoting the values, culture and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science discipline preferred)
  • 5-7 years of hands-on Business Analysis experience in Financial Services and understanding of various financial products is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and process management skills required
  • As a liaison between project business stakeholders and development teams, BA will gather, analyze, document and communicate business requirements (artifacts include BRDs, FRDs, Epics, Stories, etc.)
  • Closely partner with developers to ensure requirements are implemented per specifications
  • Refine and prioritize requirements throughout development lifecycle and responsible for acquiring stakeholder consensus/signoff for all documented business requirements
  • Project Management responsibilities include: create and maintain project plan, align agile team delivery with the overall project delivery roadmap, provide transparent and regular updates to stakeholders on status, progress and risks
  • Work with development teams to assist in documenting system architecture/design
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially pertaining to data analysis
    Financial Services systems experience is required
  • Understanding of various financial products is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of SQL and ability to construct simple queries
  • Experience with using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Must be highly proficient in the following set of tools: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
  • Document test cases in conjunction with business requirements and ensure that clear validation criteria are established for QA purposes (some hands on testing is required) and responsible to coordinate with QA/ UAT teams and participate in deployment management
