Responsibilities: Department Summary:
The Global Technical Services organization (GTS) provides Infrastructure Engineering, Project Management and Administration for all staff and applications worldwide.
The End User Services (EUS) Group is responsible for all user tools (PC's, printers, phones), user facing support functions and all associated technical services (collaborative tools, messaging, desktop engineering, security, technical directories).
The Engineering (DVS) Team provides back-end solutions and support for all physical and virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Desktop Applications to all AMER locations including United States, Canada and South American Offices. Profile Required DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a Senior-level Desktop Systems Engineer expert with both operational and design engineering responsibilities in a Windows Infrastructure environment.
The desktop engineering team member will be responsible for handling escalations and ensuring client SLA's are met. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance to Level 1 and 2 technicians.
The candidate will contribute to creation and maintenance current and future desktop infrastructure services. (procedures, best practices, support, and training on DVS products and services).
The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to work with multiple teams and projects globally in different technology disciplines.
The successful candidate must be an experienced scripter for the user workspace with strong experience in supporting enterprise level systems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
: Technical Skills: In-depth and Hands on experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Core Architectures, Operating Systems and Technologies: SCCM 2016 Office 365 Suite Create, update and maintain Windows 10 system images, test deployment, and make them available through MDT Windows Active Directory Creating and Management to Group Policy In Depth Knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7, 10) Windows Server 2012, 2016 SmartCard and Smartcard Integration with Endpoints (Laptops,Desktops,VDI) Scripting knowledge: WMI, Powershell, VBScript, and WinBatch In Depth Knowledge of Dell and HP Laptops and Desktops Desired: Microsoft Intune
Linux Desktop Exp.
Patch Management and Security
Create, modify, and produce custom reporting as needed via SCCM and Lansweeper
Desktop Video Integration - including Softphone and Skype
Understanding of Change Management
Experience working in a large, 7x24, investment banking environment
Symantec Endpoint Protection exp.
HP Access Control Print Management
ITIL experience is preferred

Qualifications: Experience Needed: Previous experience as a Sr Desktop Systems Engineer (minimum 5 years)
Financial services business knowledge, particularly prior work experience with financial industries
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or the equivalent experience
Desired / Plus: Certification in MS technologies (SCCM, Windows 10)
