It's Front office software Engineering role in the Global Equity Derivatives Structuring Technology team. The successful candidate will join a front-office technology team that work in very close partnership with the NA front office teams (trading, structuring, sales) in support of the tradable indices and custom baskets businesses.The candidate will work closely with our highly enthusiastic business partners to ensure development efforts are focused in the right way at the right time and that they satisfy business needs for the long term. The candidate will be focused on the needs of the trading desk - developing the core engine, services/API's and visualization components required for them to trade and risk manage investable index products

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, preferable Computer science and should have sound knowledge of Software engineering principles.
  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages like Python and Web Technologies ( (JS, HTML, CSS).
  • We are looking for proactive, productive developers who will relish the opportunity to make a real impact in a challenging and dynamic front office role.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies
  • Disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices

  • Experience of the full project lifecycle (e.g. understanding business goals, breaking requirements down into technical deliverables, providing effort estimation, prioritising work; building, testing and deploying solutions ).
