Able to independently support onboarding investment advisory firms onto the BNY Mellon | Pershing platform to provide financial custody services for client accounts. Works directly with Registered Investment Advisor clients and internal teams to develop and execute a detailed transition project to smoothly transition firm and client accounts onto our custody platform. Will facilitate the set-up of the firm to utilize a wide array of products and services, coordinates opening of client accounts via the collection and processing of large amounts of client data, and perform various roles in the setup and client training or multiple products and services on our platform. Understands BNY Mellon | Pershing procedures, policies, products, services, and transition options available in order to make their conversion from various custodial contra platforms seamless. Provides consultative support and training of complex processes in support of client transitions. Participates in project management activities for the transition such as reporting, issue / risk tracking, scheduling, and coordination and delivery of training. Attends, chairs and/or coordinates meetings with internal partners and all levels of client staff, management and ownership on various topics with active participation. Identifies internal gaps or quality issues in transition processes and makes recommendations for improvement. Reviews control reports to effectively mitigate risks and resolve problems that arise during the conversion process. Marshalls firm-wide resources (product, technology, marketing, compliance, service, etc.) to ensure client transition needs are addressed, and develops processes to ensure communication and alignment across teams. May facilitate legal negotiation or document review. No direct reports; acts as an individual contributor and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues. May allocate work to and monitors the work quality of others assigned to the client. Leads process improvements based on post-mortem transition analysis. Client interaction is maintained virtually via phone and e-mail in addition to face to face onsite client support. Availability for travel is required. May support several clients at a time in various phases in the transition life-cycle, and various locations. Must have strong client service, time management and problem-resolution skill sets to effectively manage transition events and consistently meet deadlines. Direct client facing experience is required as an important component to the success of this role is in strong and consistent communication. Qualifications
Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in securities, financial services or client-facing or project management roles preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
