As a 2020 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 8, 2020 and conclude on August 14, 2020. 

About The Team:
The Banking Solutions Sales intern program is designed to build a strong and diverse pipeline of future sales talent.  By aligning interns to sales teams and functions, interns are able to experience what it's like to be part of a professional B2B sales organization in a Fortune 500 company. 
Interns will have the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills and should expect to: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated sales or sales enablement functional, analyze business processes and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager. They will also interact with and support sales/account executives and managers and participate in projects that directly impact sales results.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Gain an understanding of financial technology (FinTech) and the FIS solutions that drive the financial services industry
• Obtain knowledge and gain exposure to various professional selling roles
• Participate in weekly education programs featuring various topics and leaders from across FIS
• Participate in professional development reading program on topics such as leadership, managing change and being exceptional in your personal and professional life
• Work directly with managers in the FIS sales organization
• Complete projects and tasks that impact sales efficiency and effectiveness
• Learn about and support various stages of the sales process
• Participate in meetings and contribute to current sales organization initiatives
• Analyze and improve data quality in support of sales campaign and reporting needs
• Conduct research and make recommendations to increase sales effectiveness
• Develop a final presentation with insights and feedback based on your work throughout the summer

What You Bring:
• Rising Senior (graduating December 2020 through May 2021)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong written and communication skills
• Adaptability, a drive to learn and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
