The Passive Asset Management Division of Deutsche Asset Management has assets under management of EUR100 billion globally across a range of products - ETFs, ETCs, Systematic Funds, Institutional Mandates, Certificates and Warrants. You should have a passion for financial and economic topics and familiarity with the major asset classes and investment strategies across regions. You should be comfortable sourcing and analyzing data, and writing and speaking on their findings.

Overview

The Passive Asset Management Division of Deutsche Asset Management has assets under management of EUR100 billion globally across a range of products - Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Exchange Traded Commodities (ETCs), Systematic Funds, Institutional Mandates, Certificates and Warrants. In the United States of America, the business is growing rapidly and the team is looking for an additional member of its Thought Leadership team.

You should have a passion for financial and economic topics and familiarity with the major asset classes and investment strategies across regions. You should be comfortable sourcing and analyzing data, and writing and speaking on their findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main ETF/markets/investment research resource for sales and clients
  • Generate ideas, source data, write, and present original research
  • Contribute to Thought Leadership calls, blogs, and papers
  • Travel to speak with clients, on panels, and at conferences
  • Work closely with Capital Markets, PMs, Product Development, and wider Thought Leadership and strategy colleagues on investment and ETF themes

You will have:

  • Strong and relevant experience in finance/economics/strategy
  • MBA and/or CFA preferred
  • ETF experience preferred
  • International Equity and/or Fixed Income knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work within a small team, and to meet deadlines
  • Strong Excel, knowledge of Bloomberg a plus
