The Business Development Manager will primarily have an impact on meeting the sales targets for the US team. In this role, you will partner with other team members in Sales and Account Management while also building relationships within the organisation. The primary focus will be on selling to Buy-side clients in the United States.

Position Details

This candidate will be responsible for hunting and presenting products and services to new prospective clients. They are also responsible for managing the relationships with the existing client base.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Prospecting new clients

  • Managing a pipeline of new accounts

  • Negotiating terms with clients

  • Generating a pipeline of leads and client referrals

  • Travelling domestically to meet with clients

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of proven new business sales experience

  • A solid understanding of financial markets and alternative investments

  • A strong understanding of public and private equity investment process

  • Able to generate leads and follow-up effectively

  • Excellent networking and presentations skills
