I have a number of jobs that I am recruiting for an Investment Bank in New York. Based in Manhattan, these are change and transformation opportunities that is part of a wider central change team that is part of the Markets COO.

These are VP, AVP and Director level hires. The first hire I am doing is for an Executive Level Director to lead this team. It is a Regional Head of Americas function that impacts the activities in the client operations space.

I need someone that comes from consulting or an Investment Bank and has affected and delivered change in the discretionary portfolio space. This is enterprise change management and leadership, rather than someone that has run regulatory change.

The work that you will do will impact the client operations area and agenda. You will directly support the Americas Head GBM Client Operations. We are looking for individuals that have worked in a similarly peered organisation (top 10 global investment bank) that have worked within/have experience of:

1. Working and managing stakeholder across complex organisational structures.
2. Experience of delivery within TOM (Target Operating Model) work.
3. Delivered change in the discretionary portfolio space NOT Regulatory Change.
4. Experience of crating structure and discipline in transformation.
5. Create a core team that are dedicated resource on transformation.

Responsibilities:

6. Partnering with the Global Head of Transformation to realise and successfully deliver on the 2018-2020 transformation agenda.
7. Working in conjunction with the Global Head of Transformation to design and implement the delivery approach and overall structure for Programme/portfolio governance and reporting including financials, dependencies, risks and issues, roadmap, and progress against commitments. Establishing the key governance forums and overall meeting cadence.
8. Establishing robust financial discipline across the programme (budget mgmt., obtaining maximum value from investment, supporting making informed and data driven decisions and ensuring the team has a reputation for excellent financial discipline)
9. Implementing the initiatives to support reduction of onboarding turnaround times, provision of differentiated client servicing and improved KRIs to meet regulatory risk obligations.
10. Leading the regional change team including talent identification, development and coaching.
11. Resourcing strategy and effective deployment of resources for the portfolio aligned with strategic objectives.
12. Stakeholder mapping and engagement strategy to ensure the business are brought on the journey and manage the balance between regional and global demands.
13. Implementing the communication strategy for the programme to create transparency, build engagement, and share success.
