The Financial Crime Investigations (FCI) Unit is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risks related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations.

The Senior MI & Reporting Data Analyst will be responsible for enhancing the current suite of FCI MI reports in the short term; implementing and maintaining an automated strategic MI & reporting framework in the medium term to deliver on demand, real time, dynamic and accurate MI to support executive management decision making and regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally with FCI team, IT and the Business to support FCI MI, metrics & reporting needs
  • Analyze and enhance and enrich existing MI Reports in the short term
  • Create new ad-hoc reports and analysis to support specific initiatives & requirements
  • Develop and maintain a new standard suite of regular reporting to drive Senior Management and Business decision making
  • Implement streamlined analytical solutions and data quality controls to improve accuracy, efficiency, visibility and quality of data
  • Key player in the development, implementation and maintenance of a strategic reporting platform and framework for FCI using Hadoop, hive, data lake and Tableau platform

Qualification:

You should possess extensive experience in the data world, including:

  • Advanced hands on SQL skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced data modeling skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced Data visualization tool experience
  • Analytics
  • Data Warehouses
  • ETL
  • Business Intelligence
  • Big Data, Hadoop
  • Data Migration projects
  • Relevant experience of working with data. AML or financial background preferred
  • Advanced skills in SAS, R, Tableau or similar query languages and data analysis tools
  • Expert level Excel, Power Point, creating and designing reports
  • Experience working with AML or financial data systems
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills to identify and fix data quality and operational issues
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
