The Account Services Team is responsible for supporting launches of new products and existing portfolios by collaborating with all major functional teams as well as custodian banks. The selected candidate will lead

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup, termination, maintenance, and validation of account portfolio information on accounting system
  • Initial reconciliation between FCI systems and the custodians prior to releasing a new account for trading
  • Portfolio group creation and editing  within the portfolio accounting platform
  • Review and complete custodian onboarding paperwork
  • Provide business related support for applications related to the maintenance of data for the firm
  • Develop and implement account event playbooks, standardize processes and create efficiencies
  • Participate or lead the testing and implementation of operational enhancements and special projects

EDUCATION/ACCREDITATION:

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other related field

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant investment industry exerience
  • Understanding of asset manager processes, onboarding documentation and account structures
  • Knowledge of various asset classes, including equity, fixed income and alternatives prefered
  • Methodical, pays attention to detail and quality
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work under pressure in a dynamic environment with tight timelines
  • Team player, results-oriented and self-starter
  • Software experience preferred: (Advent APX, Charles River, Markit EDM, Salesforce CRM)
  • Advanced level of functionality in EXCEL, knowledge of VBA desired
