Will provide support to ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing across a broad range of alternative investment products including FX, Futures, Cleared/ Non-Cleared Swaps, Bond Forwards, LPs, domestic and global securities, fixed income instruments and Third Party Funds. Core processing and servicing includes: broker and custodian account set-up, trade capture, trade confirmation, settlements, counterparty reconciliations, collateral management and new counterparty on-boarding. The Analyst works closely with and in support of the Portfolio Management and Trading teams and interact with various custodians, counterparties and other operation teams to ensure all components of the product life cycle are monitored, complete and accurate.


  • Ensure derivatives related transactions are entered into portfolio accounting system in a timely manner and reconciled accurately
  • Daily reconciliation with brokers and other counterparties
  • OTC derivatives confirmation and settlement
  • Calculate margin requirements and coordinate margin movement
  • Coordinate with Portfolio Managers for collateral movements to counterparties
  • Liase with external counterparties and internal departments to investigate and quickly resolve discrepancies
  • Documentation and monitoring of various alternative investments including private loans, term Loans, LPs and third party funds
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of information in systems
  • Provide exceptional service when interacting with internal and external contacts
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of operational enhancements and special projects
  • Contribute to the development of operational processes and controls to implement new products and strategies


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or other relevant fields


  • Minimum of 3 years relevant derivatives operations and trade support experience
  • Experience with prime brokers and hedge funds, a plus
  • Excellent working knowledge of complex investment products (FX, Futures, Options, Credit and Interest Rate Derivatives, Repos and Bond Forwards) as well as P&L and cash analysis on those products
  • Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives and the confirmation and settlement process
  • Knowledge of asset management processes and flows, preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, experience resolving trading issues and strong problem resolution skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Proven continuous process improvement mindset and positive team attitude
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Charles River, Advent APX and Omgeo (Oasys & CTM), preferred
  • Experience and demonstrated skill with  Excel macros and V-lookups
