The Position: Associate, Client Onboarding and Product Development Team

The Firm is seeking to add a resource to support its growing product development and client onboarding team in its New York office. This person will be responsible for assisting in administering and organizing the Firm's product development initiatives and assisting in the onboarding of institutional or retail clients. The individual will also assist with legal research efforts as requested as well as other projects that are initiated by the Legal and Regulatory team. The person will work closely with the entire Legal and Regulatory team and will regularly interact with investment, finance, fund accounting, client service and operations professionals as well as senior management.

  • Prepare and gather documents pertaining to new product development, new fund launches and new account openings
  • Maintain records and keep track of important provisions in legal and fund agreements
  • Assist in preparation of various securities filings
  • Perform general market research
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from the team

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of internship experience, 2+ years' experience in an office setting, such as a Legal or Investment Management Firm
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Capable of anticipating and accommodating needs of team members
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Capable of adapting to changing needs of the organization
  • Energetic and willing to get involved where needed
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
