Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Function as a quantitative developer for our high-performance Monte-Carlo-based pricing infrastructure and the Firm's pricing model and automated trading control platform. Responsibilities include: applying optimization and numerical techniques to improve the performance of pricing models; deriving and implementing solutions using mathematical software such as numerical PDE solution, Monte Carlo simulation, and variance reduction techniques; developing and enhancing user interface, workflow engine and database for the Firm's listing of automated trading control; working with testing engineering on the automated trading platform.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related quantitative finance role. Prior work experience must include two (2) years: object-oriented programming; functional programming; working with complex data structures and algorithms, including calculations of related mathematical complexity; SQL (Structured Query Language) databases; no-SQL databases; Linux and windows operation systems; developing web-based user interface, including HTML5 (Hypertext Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and Javascript; and testing and quality assurance related to financial products modelling. Prior work experience must include one (1) year: project management of large, multi-team, technical projects within a financial service institution, with the ability to work directly with business end users, including traders, risk managers, technologists and compliance/internal audit teams; and data analysis, including statistical analysis and machine learning, in particular decision trees.
