Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Operate independently to design, develop, test and deploy business application software. Demonstrate proficiency with one or more technology environments and facility to learn and apply new/emerging concepts quickly. Understand current and future applications and technology architectures relevant to GS Asset Management (GSAM) Strategic Client Services technology. Define and analyze moderately complex problems and lead design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and offering and incorporating ideas. Lead small teams through all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including providing work estimates and raising critical project issues such as technical/project risks. Work directly with stakeholders and analysts in defining new application requirements, resolving project issues and providing Technology perspective to strategic business planning. Apply knowledge of the financial industry and products and services of the Firm, specifically those offered by GSAM to resolve system issues. Must be willing to work with proprietary technologies; no knowledge of a proprietary technology is required pre-hire.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in a STEM field. Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in an analyst or developer position. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for development and project plan estimates, including experience gathering requirements, designing, developing, reviewing, building, testing and deployment of commercial scale software changes; Java 1.8 or higher, including experience with advanced topics including multi-threading environment, JDBC, Reflections, Generics and Collection framework; SQL, Stored procedures, and Sybase or a similar relational database, and NoSQL databases, including Elasticsearch and MongoDB; design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming; Linux, including knowledge of UNIX commands to be able to analyze, maintain and develop server side scripts; communicating independently and directly with end-users and stakeholders to resolve issues and identify solutions; and front-end web development, including JavaScript, HTML, and AngularJS.
