Business Analyst, Client Onboarding Correspondence - Assistant Vice President
Morgan Stanley ("MS") is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segments-Institutional Securities, Wealth Management, and Asset Management. Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial advice and services to its clients including brokerage, investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit & lending, deposits & cash management, annuities, insurance, retirement and trust services.
The Field Strategic Services (FSS) group within MSWM is responsible for transformational platform strategies that provide better tools for our Financial Advisors, support staff, and our clients. The Strategic Client Onboarding (SCO) team within FSS is seeking an energetic Business Analyst to assist with critical, regulatory onboarding correspondence projects and processes (e.g. playbacks, closure letters, contact information changes, etc.)

As part of Strategic Client Onboarding team, this candidate will manage day-to-day activities associated to regulation driven correspondence. S/he will collaborate with Fraud Operations, National New Accounts, Global Financial Crimes, Digital Solutions, Risk, Legal and Technology identifying new requirements, processes and policies to meet regulatory expectations while strengthening the control environment for branch based account opening and maintenance.

Responsibilities will include:
• Day-to day management of issues, escalations and reconciliation processes
related to correspondence generation
• Manage backlog for enhancements of client fraud prevention client
communication and correspondence
• Maintain awareness and familiarity of Federal Laws/Regulations/Guidance
which impact control environment
• Track internal and competitive metrics and maintain dashboard
• Act as a utility player, participating in programs / projects within broader
Account Opening Fraud Control team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Technology, Risk, Operations,
Security, Legal, Fraud Operations & Anti-Money Laundering to understand
business requirements, standards, policies, and other considerations which
enhance the Onboarding control environment

Skills:
• Inquisitive, self-starter who is able to balance multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented problem solver, able to distill complex issues to identify root
causes
• Competency in Jira and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and
Outlook
