Department Profile:
The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.

Job Summary:
The Global Client Listed and OTC Derivatives Clearing Product Control Team within Prime Brokerage is seeking to fill a position that requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, technology, people, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be involved in various initiatives related to Client Listed and OTC Clearing designed to improve the control framework, as well as supporting the P&L production team. This position requires a highly motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented individual.


- 4-6 years of relevant financial services industry experience. Experience with derivative and clearing businesses strongly preferred
- Bachelors degree required. Major in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Solid foundation in Accounting and Finance concepts
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Proactive, organized, and able to adapt to changes quickly
- Exposure to financial markets and instruments
- Ability to multi-task and execute on a variety of deliverables, while maintaining strict attention to detail
