Demand Generation and Automation Lead

To manage and audit the marketing data and workflows in the IHS Markit Marketing Automation Platform (currently leveraging Eloqua e10). To work closely with the business line marketing teams to help enhance marketing campaigns executed using Eloqua and to ensure that the integrations with Eloqua are being managed efficiently and effectively.

Principal Job Functions and Accountabilities:

  • Design and Implement Marketing Automation Programs in cooperation with the Business Line Marketers to support Revenue, Margin and Retention Goals.
  • Support and Optimize the Eloqua / Salesforce CRM integration as required to ensure proactive lead management practices.
  • Support Business Line marketers in their local/regional campaigns as determined by the Marketing Automation Team (MAT) Queue.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that business line marketers have enough training tools to manage marketing campaigns effectively.
  • Manage integrations and audit workflows and data within the Eloqua system
  • Define and strategize on the development of global demand planning programs and strategies.
  • Analyse business challenges, current programs and external market best practices and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • May be responsible for external vendor relationships.

Database and Lead Management:
  • Create targeted marketing lists using all internal data sources, supplementing with external sources as needed.
  • Establish and coordinate consistent global demand planning and lead management processes.
  • Establish and execute the Lead Optimization Roadmap including the support of Worldwide Scale Marketing Programs.
  • Participate in the identification of any gaps or opportunities for the optimization of lead flow.
  • Maintain and advance a roadmap for acquisition integration, database extensions and other efforts that optimize marketing systems in service of regional and product marketing objectives.
  • Develop methodology for conducting audits of acquired-company marketing processes covering list management, opt-in practices, lead capture and management, forms processing, integration with entitlements and / or CRM systems, and role of their website in marketing programs.
  • Design, monitor and enhance roles and procedures to support smooth operations, advancement of performance vs. metrics and troubleshooting for campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain procedures around email and marketing automation processes.
  • Develop formalized, role-based training and on-boarding processes to ensure users are adhering to established processes.
  • Monitor and work with legal and web operations teams to ensure systems and procedures align with evolving, country-specific requirements.
  • Serve as the central coordination point for contracts, master service agreements and scope of work for lead qualification vendors.
