Director - Strategic Initiative Lead - Ratings Technology

JobDescription :
The Strategic Initiative Lead will lead the Ratings Strategic Initiative of positioning the organization to succeed in the transformation with next-generation infrastructure and tools to enable our workforce with an upgraded employee experience. This position is will lead the improvement of the Technology Experience of our employees with the goal of increasing the annual VIBE survey scores on Technology. This role will coordinate, lead and ensure that solutions are developed and implemented to address the key areas of improvement and affect a positive trend in the annual VIBE survey scores.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will report into the Technology office, will be part of the Strategic Lead Community and report progress to the Executive Committee.Understand the current end to end technology experience of Ratings employees. Complete diagnostics of key areas to build a prioritize list of high impact, feasible solutions.
  • Define requirements with stakeholders and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate high impact solutions that measurably improve the daily technology experience of our employees for 2019. Work with functions across SPGI and S&P Ratings to establish cohesive processes and solutions.
  • Establish actionable feedback loops to understand new areas that require improvement.
  • Review current processes and metrics and optimize them to be truly measurable.
  • Produce project plan, schedule, and coordination of all project aspects including budget controls.
  • Communicate the improvements to our key stakeholders and our employees.
  • Manage the employee technology experience program and team members in local offices that are driving an improved technology experiences for our employees.
  • Evaluate time, cost, and quality of output by the team; including stakeholder satisfaction of output throughout the life of the project.

Qualifications:
  • Requires knowledge of SPGI and S&P Ratings processes, systems, applications or the ability to build adequate breadth & depth in a short time frame
  • Strong knowledge of lean and or agile roles, processes, philosophy
  • Understanding of S&P Ratings' business, its strategic priorities and the technology interactions of our employees
  • Requires knowledge of SPGI and S&P Ratings processes, systems, applications or the ability to build adequate breadth & depth in a short time frame
  • Strong knowledge of lean and or agile roles, processes, philosophy
  • Understanding of S&P Ratings' business, its strategic priorities and the technology interactions of our employees
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships with leaders and communicate credibly with an executive audience
  • Background as an Agile coach/Project Manager highly desirable
  • Good understanding of Technology functional areas (Application Development, Infrastructure and Data) and experience in working within Technology leading large technology projects
