Global Hedge Fund Recruitment Consultant
Our client is seeking to hire an experienced analyst for a position in their New York headquarters covering the Financials sector. The research process includes a heavy emphasis on detailed financial modeling and valuation work. In addition, the position would also involve regular interaction with management teams and industry sources to help originate and vet investment ideas. This position will report directly to the portfolio manager for this strategy.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years covering USA Financials Sector in a buy-side function (Strict Requirement).
- Housing, Building Products, REITs etc.)
- Come from a Top Investment Bank Analyst Programme/Hedge Fund Graduate Programme.
- Experience with event-focused / catalyst driven investing.
- Short selling experience and aptitude.
- Passion for investing and the ability to communicate ideas and information effectively is critical.
- Preferably, the candidate would be ranked in the top of his or her peer group at current and former employers.
