Job Description:

We are seeking an Equity Compensation Analyst to help us provide a higher level of service and communication to our employees and partners, and greater transparency in the overall equity compensation processes. The individual will be someone who enjoys working with complex equity compensation structures and is able to distill them down to manageable, easier to understand components across the entire "award to monetization" life cycle. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker that provides an accurate and swift resolution to complex inquiries. The qualified candidate will be able to work effectively and independently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Address partner and employee inquiries with regard to equity and compensation processes and policies
  • Work with Company management to develop processes to distribute notices to partners and employees at each stage of the equity cycle
  • Work collaboratively with the Compensation Group on the administration and development of global compensation programs, and integrate equity considerations into the annual salary review and bonus process for support and front office staff
  • Work with IT to build scope and specifications for an equity desk ticket system to track inbound inquiries
  • Build Process Wheel and document rules to improve transparency from award to monetization
  • Create Equity Calendar in order for partners to understand the equity life cycle with transparency
  • Train field Operations Managers on various equity platforms, and equity program highlights; including, offering training on Oracle, AST, and Raymond James portals
  • Work with HR team to enhance 'broker profile' in HR Database to capture relevant equity chart fields
  • Reconcile differences between cash reporting and tax reporting
  • Utilize Oracle Partnership System to view profiles of all NKF partners & employees
  • Assist with restricted stock administration - including the granting and approvals process of equity awards, data integrity, vesting schedules, monetization, and employee communications
  • Provide equity compensation insights to support to the business
Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in an finance, HR, or equity compensation role
  • BS in Finance, Accounting or a related field such as Human Resources
  • Advanced level of Excel including pivot tables, macros, etc, PowerPoint, and understanding of databases
  • Experience with Equity Compensation
  • Adept at using ERP platforms
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Focus on Client (i.e. Partner) Service
  • Experience in commercial real estate helpful, but not required
  • Self-Starter; must be able to work on his/her own with little direction
  • Able to understand concepts quickly and apply them
