TIR's mandate is to enable the Firm to manage its technology and data related risks through implementing proactive, comprehensive, and consistent risk management practices across the Firm to protect the franchise while capturing business opportunities. The TIR team partners with the business by ensuring that Technology understands how to manage, escalate and monitor risk.

Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management/Investment Management Cybersecurity Team seeks an Executive Assistant to support the team with a variety of administrative, organizational, and logistical tasks.

The team provides highly tailored, business-focused cybersecurity advice, consultancy, and service to the Wealth Management and Investment Management Business and Technology groups. The Executive Assistant will interface regularly with individuals at all levels across Morgan Stanley and outside the firm. She/he must have an excellent customer service orientation and the ability to manage a fast-paced work environment and juggle multiple, simultaneous projects.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing the daily schedule of the Head of Wealth Management Cybersecurity
Handling all travel arrangements for the Head of Wealth Management Cybersecurity (booking flights, hotels and ground transportation; collecting all relevant details and preparing trip itineraries; communicating with trip organizers)
Maintaining the team's master client and field engagement schedule
Organizing and submitting all expenses for the Head of Wealth Management Cybersecurity
Assisting other team members with travel arrangements and expense submissions as needed
Answering phone inquiries for the Head of Wealth Management Cybersecurity and directing as appropriate
Planning, organizing, and implementing events such as team meetings and retreats
Performing administrative responsibilities such as maintaining files, photocopying, faxing, collating, etc., as needed
Taking on special projects as assigned by the Head of Wealth Management Cybersecurity

The ideal candidate is:
A detail-oriented self-starter with prior experience in the financial services industry or with a technology team
Someone who exhibits sound judgement with the ability to prioritize and make decisions
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Comfortable interacting with high-level executives
A team-player capable of cultivating productive working relationships across the firm


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three to five years prior experience in supporting a senior executive or team
  • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with Morgan Stanley and the financial/wealth management industry a plus
