Firm Risk Management
Firm Risk Management (FRM) enables Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns, acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit, market, liquidity, operational, model and other risks.

You will collaborate with colleagues across FRM and the Firm to protect the Firm's capital base and franchise, advise businesses and clients on risk mitigating strategies, develop tools and methodologies to analyze and monitor risk, contribute to key regulatory initiatives and report on risk exposures and metrics to enable informed and strategic decision-making. Position The Associate or Vice President will be a member of FRM's Stress Testing PMO partnering with Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Model Risk Management, Capital and Finance.
Responsibilities include: • Project management of annual CCAR and regular stress testing initiatives within FRM, including calendar development, production timeline management, work stream tracking, control and governance, issue and action plan management, for both the firm and its banks.
• Apply analytical skills to seek efficiency improvements throughout the stress testing process.
• Partner with, as well as, effectively manage downstream and upstream stakeholders outside FRM.
• Administrate the governance framework and processes around capital stress testing in FRM, including due diligence, review and challenge, attestations, and various committees.
• Produce documentation and presentations to senior management and regulators related to regulatory capital stress testing, and constantly improve their quality.
• Analyze, improve, and integrate the bank's capital stress testing process with the firm process to seek efficiency.
• Participate in and provide inputs/challenges to the risk identification, stress scenario design, stress testing processes of the firm and its banks through involvement in the Capital Planning Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
• Provide ad hoc support related to capital stress testing, including but not limited to regulatory exams, internal audit, and independent reviews.
Qualifications: Experience/Skills Required • Motivated, eager to learn and grow.
• Experience in project or process management at financial institutions.
• Detailed-oriented, able to handle complex processes and heavy documents.
• Good listener, strong interpersonal and communication skills· Ability and willingness to engage partners at different levels.
• Time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of risk management in financial institutions.
• Experience in large institution capital stress testing (CCAR/DFAST/ICAAP) preferred.
