IT Production Control
Location: New York, NY, USACandidate for this position will work with our customer base to provide workload automation solutions. This includes the development of processes to ensure proper monitoring, maintenance and alerting is established. The responsibilities include change management, access control and addressing issues that arise that are not automated. Work with developers to ensure the solutions they are developing are supportable. Candidate will require strong communication skills.
- Work closely with application teams and the business to develop automated solutions
- Maintain and administer the Workload Automation application (Control-M)
- Troubleshoot all issues to a successful conclusion
- Work with Moody's manager to develop a roadmap for supporting upcoming technologies
- Develop APIs and utilities to support automated processing
Moody's Information Technology
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows and AIX).
- Knowledge of database and middleware applications (Informatica/PeopleSoft/Cognos/DB2/Sybase/MS SQL/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTP/FTPS/SFTP/SCP)
- Scripting skills (Java, Perl, Powershell, shell scripting)
- Presentation skills to develop and present periodic reports.
