Overview

This role in the team is responsible for the planning & performance management of our Wealth Management (WM) franchise in the Americas. You will report to the Head of Performance Management, WM Americas, who reports to the COO WM Americas. This team plays an essential role in actively developing the future trajectory of the business together with the strategy group, establishing actionable targets across critical areas of responsibilities (market / product heads / sales teams), monitoring delivery against targets, as well as providing thought leadership to develop new opportunities / mitigation measures together with the head of the business / COO. This team will also include active pipeline and activity management as well as offer new opportunities to enhance the responsibility on performance related topics. It also includes interesting responsibilities to ensure that relevant information is provided in an efficient and modern way, leveraging existing and new elements of technology.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the annual planning process, co-development of strategic priorities, model revenue, and cost and resource initiatives & align with regional / product heads. Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure E2E connectivity of plan/measures and collaborate with CFO team to ensure accurate data capturing

  • Strong interaction with business heads / COO to monitor progress against plan, focus on early indication of performance opportunities / shortfall, and work actively with key business stakeholders to enhance performance during the year

  • Lead and develop sales management relevant information including business pipelines

  • Provide business input to Treasury teams and co-ordinate with the global business team and local Treasury department

  • Provide business input for monthly forecast for cost, FTE, and revenues/NNA (e.g. business alignment of forecast based on performance/pipeline, alignment with market/product heads including focus on key initiatives, etc.)


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience. Previous relevant background in Finance, Business Management / Development

  • Experience in wealth management, investment banking, consulting, strategy, change management, or business development in the financial services industry

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently develop and manage complex models

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to support preparation of presentations for a senior audience

  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and effectively engage in discussions with senior management
