The Product Strategy analyst is a key member of the Product Solutions team responsible for initiatives to enhance the firm’s broad product line-up by modifying existing strategies to be positioned for success and assessing available vehicles to highlight potential gaps. The role works closely with other members of the Product Solutions team, as well as with members of the Investment, Sales, Marketing, Client Service, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations departments.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Assist or lead initiatives related to creating a cohesive global product strategy aligned to C&S’ culture and capabilities
• Conduct research on high conviction themes and industry trends that impact C&S’ business
• Assess product line-up by reviewing performance, pricing, competitive positioning and asset trends
• Oversee research and fee analysis to establish competitive pricing for vehicles across the product line-up 
• Evaluate changing structural and regulatory themes to position vehicles appropriately for each market
• Participate in researching potential strategic acquisition opportunities and supporting other corporate management functions
• Generate and present reports on trends in the firm’s core asset classes
• Assist with product development and product information functions as necessary

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor degree from an accredited college 
• 4+ years of related experience required 
• Knowledge of the asset management business; experience with listed real assets including REITs, listed infrastructure and commodities is a plus
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Other key attributes: team-player, result-driven, integrity, initiative, thoroughness, attention to detail, resourcefulness
• Skilled use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
