Program Management Associate, Field Operations

Morgan Stanley is a global financial services leader with three core businesses - Institutional Securities, Asset Management, and Global Wealth Management. Global Wealth Management is offered by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) franchise, which has one of the world's largest networks of Financial Advisors. This role is in the Morgan Stanley Field Operations organization. Field Operations encompasses a wide range of services and support designed to add value to our clients with a shared goal of serving the best interests of our branches and our clients.
Job Description: This Assistant Vice President position will report within the Field Operations Program Office and work closely with other Wealth Management Administrative teams who are driving business process innovation and streamlining of the field services platform. Responsibilities include the coordination of project activities and governance associated with various platform enhancements across the Wealth Management organization as well as management support.
Responsibilities:
• Coordination of project activities and governance associated with various platform enhancements across the Wealth Management organization
• Track overall progress against program objectives and regularly report out on progress
• Maintain a "Birds-Eye View" of program operations (e.g., issues, escalations)
• Management support functions including presentation preparation
• Create project reporting and transparency across the various programs for senior leadership
• Assist in crafting field marketing and communications to create cohesiveness across various programs and help drive adoption of platform changes

Qualifications:

Skills Required
• Must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a will to succeed
• Must be able to build strong relationships
• Prior project management skills required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both business and technical contexts
• Ability to tell a strategic, multi-faceted story through PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work in a strong team and high activity environment where the sharing of ideas and talents is encouraged and welcomed
• Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
• Financial Services experience preferred, but not required
• BA or BS preferred, but not required
• Series 7 preferred, but not required
