The Role Responsibilities
Actively update US clients on China Foreign Exchange (FX) & rates markets, regulation change and Renminbi (RMB) products to provide RMB solutions and drive RMB businesses, including RMB financing, RMB FX hedging, and cross-border solutions. Advise US clients on optimal RMB strategies and regulation change to help clients navigate China's regulatory environment and promote SCB RMB Capabilities. Promote and support Panda and Dim-Sum bonds effort to Multi National Corporates (MNC). Take US investors through the process of investing in the China Inter-bank Bond Markets (CIBM). Serve as the effective gateway for RMB knowledge transfer to Americas. Promote SCB's RMB branding and profile in Americas. Emphasis on cross asset and cross boarder collaboration in order to maximize client service and returns. Work with Relationship Managers and originate new clients to market and sell Financial Market (FM) products. Drive the client engagement for Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) optimization to improve the overall FM product Return on Risk-Weighted Asset (RoRWA).


Candidate Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field plus five (5) years of experience as a RMB Specialist, Associate Director, Manager or Analyst in Financial Market/Corporate Sales, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with all of the following: Advising Multi-National Corporations (MNC) on RMB, G10, Asian FX hedging, China regulation, financial markets reform & opening; Quoting, Pricing and Dealing RMB, G10, Asian FX, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) and Cross-Currency Swaps (CCS); Working with RMB, G10, Asian IRS, CCS, and FX pricing model in Bloomberg/Excel; Formulating FX, interest rate, funding and cross-border solutions for clients according to China regulatory framework; Providing frequent Global, Asia and RMB market updates to clients; Presenting to MNCs' management regarding Global, Asia and RMB economic & markets outlook; Formulating client & sector strategies with relationship management team.

HOURS : Full time; Mon - Fri (40 hours per week)
