Our clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers as well as risk and compliance managers and academic institutions.

Role Overview:

Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP. We are a multi-cultural organisation that has set exciting objectives to grow the business and increase contribution to group revenues across a five-year period. Aligned to this strategy is the position of a Sales Development Representative to be located in the TP ICAP New York office.

At Parameta Solutions, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That is why we are seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting to help generate sales qualified leads
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of Parameta Solutions products and value unique value propositions
  • Identify the needs of prospects while positioning appropriate products or services
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with team members and external prospects
  • Meticulously manage a pipeline of new business opportunities towards ambitious company goals
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Experience / Competences:

Essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in liaising with colleagues across departments and offices
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with ability to problem solve, adapt, and grow with the sales organization
  • Understanding of any sales methodology preferred
Desired
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in the sales development representative role with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience of working with market data and analytics is highly advantageous
  • Skilled in use of Salesforce.com and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
