BNYMellon is seeking a Senior Specialist, Corporate Events. Responsibilities include:
Withmoderate guidance, coordinates and executes assigned elements of BNY Mellonhosted events in accordance with the standards of quality, excellence, and costcontrol established for BNY Mellon's Events group.
Coordinatesa limited variety of business events, elements of which include, but are notlimited to agenda development, preparation and proofing of written/graphicmaterials, vendor/site research, contract negotiation, expense management, foodand beverage selection, audio visual management, and budget tracking.
Demonstratesworking knowledge of event industry trends and competitive activities.
Worksclosely with the host of the project to develop the event profile (goal,responsibilities, budgets, timelines, etc.) scheduling the date of the event,securing venues, negotiating contracts, planning and coordinating the event,and frequently providing on-site management of the event.
Workscooperatively with internal resources to support activities.
Thisposition requires some travel and off hours/weekend work when needed.

Bachelor'sdegree and at least 2 years of equivalent work experience required
Typicallyrequires 2-5 years of experience in meeting professional field, preferablyfinancial services.
Strongcommunication and project management skills required.
