Within the Asset Servicing division, as a Third Party Governance engagement manager, you are responsible for the oversight of division's vendor based applications. This includes vendor hosted or vendor licensed software operated in-house within the bank's data centers.

This position requires a technology project manager who is self-directed, can manage vendor and in-house relationships to bridge communications, coordination and oversee a vendor's operation of their service or the quality of software delivered to the bank.

The successful candidate will be part of the highly visible team driving third party enhanced governance of applications and technology services within Asset Servicing Technology. This requires strong knowledge in platform architectures and technology operations coupled to third party governance.

Project management for technology based projects/efforts, a demonstrated ability to be organized, prioritize and multitask activities is important. This is a highly visible role in a high performing team within the bank, as such you will need to be a collaborative team player, working with your peers throughout the technology and operations areas as needed as part of a global organization. This role will require some out of hours and weekend work.


• Accountable for the managing projects for vendor based applications managed by the team.

• As part of the TPG team oversee that vendor related and activities meets banks expectations and standards/policies and address shortcomings

• Identify gaps between the current state and target model for the application and support model

• Applies effective project management methodologies and control techniques.

• Helps drive vendor based projects and initiatives forward, focusing on resiliency/recoverability of the application and/or service

For vendor hosted services, when production incidents are escalated to AST Vendor Governance, engage with the application manager/service owner and vendor to help drive resolution and remediation to prevent re-occurrence.


Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, Advanced degree is beneficial, 8-10years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information

Experience with vendor hosted solutions (Cloud, SAAS/ASP) as well as vendor software that resides on in-house servers

• Experience communicating, verbal and written, with all levels of the organization, from technical to Snr Mgmt.

• Experience with change, incident (production support) and problem management processes

• Experience with global applications that support global user base, high transaction volumes

• Experience with managing changes to applications and their environments.

• Experienced in project management and being well organized

Preferred (Internal/External):

• Extensive experience in managing vendor based services within an asset servicing organization

• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
