Work you'll do

Deloitte Consulting seeks qualified Manager candidates interested injoining our Higher Education practice. Our team works with large researchuniversities, community colleges and top tier private schools. Our engagementsrange from high level strategy work to transformational planning and full-cyclesystems design and implementation. Specifically, we work on cost reduction,revenue enhancement, benchmarking, shared services, strategic sourcing,business process re-engineering and strategic planning projects. Managers leadand deliver large, complex Higher Education client engagements that identify,design, and implement creative business and technology solutions. Managersimplement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage theteam and day-to-day client relationships to ensure exceptional performance.Managers can lead small engagements or components of large, complexengagements. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposalsfor business development activities.

The team
Our Strategy practice brings together several key capabilities that will allow us to architect integrated programs that transform our clients' businesses, including Corporate & Business Unit Strategy, Technology Strategy & Insights, Enterprise Model Design, Enterprise Cloud Strategy and Business Transformation.

Strategy professionals will serve as trusted advisors to our clients, working with them to make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win, in order to drive growth and enterprise value.

Strategy will help our clients:
• Identify strategies for growth and value creation
• Develop the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision
• Maximize the ROI on technology investments and leverage technology and Cloud trends to architect future business strategies



  • A minimum of 6 years relevant consulting and/or higher education industryexperience
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel 100%
  • Experience leading teams focused on specific work streams of largerprojects; eagerness to mentor junior staff
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentationskills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)

  • Experience working on at least three (3) large scale transformationprojects in the higher education space
  • An advanced degree

  • Experience that demonstrates high degree of self-direction, initiativeand motivation; sense of urgency to meet established deadlines
  • S trong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability toexercise mature judgment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to identify processimprovement opportunities

  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present andsell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
