We're looking for skilled systems engineers who have a deep level of understanding in linux, networks, python scripting and support. You'd use these skills to support, maintain and improve the most successful trading systems in the world.
You'd be joining a high frequency trading environemnt. These areas are engineering lead where IT is seen as the revenue generating arm of the business rather than an expense. These roles also offer remote work, flexible hours and the best compensation and benefits on the market:
- Deep understanding of Linux engineering and administration methods
- Familiar with tuning OS and kernel parameters for improved performance (latency, throughput)
- Infrastructure provisioning/management tools (e.g. Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Puppet)
- Understanding and experience in time synchronization setups
- Familiarity and comfort working with common scripting languages such as Python
- Broad experience with common infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding of data protection schemes, how they are commonly deployed, and how they fail: erasure coding, replication, RAID, snapshots, etc.
