Department Profile:
The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firms books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanleys various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanleys various businesses and its senior management team.

The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organizations financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.

Job Summary:
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Vice President for its Transfer Pricing Controllers Team. The successful hire will be responsible for leading the Control & Execution functions for the Firms Transfer Pricing Control process. The Morgan Stanley Transfer Pricing Control Group is responsible for an independent validation of the transfer pricing calculations to ensure accuracy and quality assurance, suspense and break monitoring to ensure transfer pricing has no pre- tax impact on the firm, the transfer pricing systems and providing subject matter expertise as questions arise from legal entity controllers and product controllers. In addition, the team has been spearheading a number of global projects to streamline the process.

This position requires a strong, self-motivated and innovative individual.

Transfer Pricing Controller responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Lead the Control & execution functions for transfer pricing control group
- Management of a global team
- Performing independent validation of transfer pricing calculations
- Development of additional analytics and reporting function within Transfer Pricing Control
- Coordinate with Transfer Pricing Tax and Legal Entity/ Business Unit Controllers globally
- Oversight of the Firms transfer pricing systems

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interact cross regions
- Relevant experience in either the Transfer Pricing or Legal Entity space
- Management experience
- Self motivated and the ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities
