The US Banks seek a Vice President ("VP") to join the First Line of Defense Business Risk team. The VP will report into the Business Risk Managing Director. He or she will support administration of the first line of defense business risk department. The VP US Banks First Line Risk Officer will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities: - Coordination of cross-function projects and communications - Reporting and monitoring of Business Risk programs, including management and committee reporting - Headcount management and reconciliation including, open requisition pipeline and employee onboarding - Talent management, including promotion pipeline planning, leadership and development program coordination and talent review processes - Employee engagement, including coordination of networking opportunities, skip level meetings, survey results and driving mobility across the organization - Event planning, including leadership staff meetings, speaker series, offsites, town halls, volunteer activities and social engagements - Location strategy and real estate management - Expense management and approval for third party vendors and employee activity
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in financial services industry; preferably in risk management, finance, compliance, or audit. - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (Preferred) • Banking experience (Preferred)
