Our client, a top-rated, global Corporate and Investment Bank, is adding a Vice President to their securitization structuring team located in Midtown, New York City (focus on aviation, but also covering other ABS, e.g. equipment deals, consumer finance, but also project finance, etc.).

 

The Securitization structuring team are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and quantitative skills.  The Vice President opportunity will provide an opportunity to gain transaction experience across a large variety of asset classes (Flow ABS, Esoteric ABS, project bonds, Insurance Solutions) and a high level of responsibility and career potential.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction execution, modeling and structuring across multiple asset classes
  • Lead transaction execution process
    • Credit Process
    • Execution management
    • Draft and Review offering documents
    • Due diligence
  • Advise the analysts and associates as they conduct market analysis and content research
  • Understand and summarize emergent regulations and technical guidance
  • Monitor regulatory developments, economic and industry data and macro events
  • Interpret raw data and convert to understandable, graphical format
  • Monitoring and maintenance of existing transactions
  • Supervise pitch books creation
  • Organize roadshows and other client meetings
  • Lead distribution efforts in liaison with Syndicate teams if and when applicable
  • Offer solutions based approach in dealing with issuers and investors
  • Drive the team’s marketing efforts:
  • Monitor Portfolio (if and when applicable):  For the portion of transactions financed through conduit vehicles, maintain existing deal portfolio by conducting annual reviews and implementing amendments. 
  • Develop network of internal contacts across groups including Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Trading, Sales, Syndicate, Accounting, Legal and Investment Banking

Basic qualifications

  • Strong undergraduate track record
  • 3 years of work experience plus Master’s degree in related fee or 5 years of work experience in ABS or directly team (e.g. bank lending, coverage)
  • Series 7 or 79 and 63 required

Preferred qualifications

  • 5-7 years of work experience on ABS team with experience leading deal execution teams
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following sectors: transportation finance, equipment finance, or consumer finance
