RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, NY. Responsible for the Goldman Sachs Asset Management ("GSAM") data services which are used across the division to deliver a variety of data. Understanding the core reference data needs of GSAM and navigate the organization to determine source ownership, of data, and validate upstream usage. Client relationship manager to the platform's clients, these include other technology teams, as well as Portfolio Management (PM) interaction. This relationship is critical to understand their needs, and client expectations to communicate those to the rest of the team as requirements and delivery planning. Responsible for evolving the Investment Management Division's Data Platform feature set, using the client driven service requirements to drive the Data Streaming infrastructure evolution. Lead multi-person projects and engage in hands-on development throughout the development lifecycle: validate defects in code and data, develop solutions, test changes and manage new version releases. Communicate regular status, and collate feedback, to internal clients. Provide supervision, guidance and mentoring for two analysts.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: Developing service orientated architectures using Java, Scala including RESTful interfaces using the Jackson framework; Structured Query Language (SQL); Working as a member of large global development team and communicating effectively across regions; and Engaging in the entire software development lifecycle, including interacting with end users to elicit requirements and converting requirements into technical solutions and resolving support issues. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Java/Scala test frameworks, including Junit and Mockito; Integrating testing framework management, execution and output with build environments including Jenkins and Edge; and Enterprise data lake, including experience with data ingestion, milestoning, validation, refinement and materialization. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Developing distributed computer jobs using the Apache Spark, Flink, Beam, Akka, and Kafka frameworks; Javascript, including AngularJS and React frameworks; and Asset Management, and Portfolio Management related projects.
