Model Risk Governance Specialist
Job Description RDC uses a variety of statistical models in our product offerings, such as predictive models trained using machine learning. RDC's customer base includes financial institutions and companies in other regulated industries. In order to continue to offer the world's best customer screening portfolio monitoring products, and to ensure continued compliance with regulatory agencies, RDC is looking to fill the position of Model Risk Governance Specialist. This role is both inward- and outward-facing. The responsibilities include managing the inventory of models, creating documentation of the models as well as documenting the infrastructure that we use to monitor model behavior in production and reduce the residual model risk. The Specialist will interact with customers and prospects from time to time to explain the model governance processes, technology and infrastructure. The Specialist will also occasionally speak at industry conferences and serve on panels.
Qualifications
Requirements
- BA in statistics, data science or related field and ten years of model risk analysis and governance experience, or Masters and 5 years of experience;
- Experience interacting with regulators, particularly financial industry examiners and supervisors;
- Experience working in a software product company;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
