    Job Summary

    AB-PCI is looking for an Analyst to work as part of the Middle Office team. The newly created role will support the growing business and team. AB-PCI has grown significantly over recent years and high caliber talent is needed to help support continued business growth, improve processes and scale operations. The role will initially have responsibilities related to deal closings, but offers the ability to grow and change as the team continues to grow.

    Initial responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

    • Provide daily operational support to deal and portfolio management teams
    • Participate in weekly pipeline and allocation committee meetings and keep abreast of current pipeline of upcoming deal closings, amendments, etc. and ensure that all operational aspects are executed in a timely manner
    • Coordinate closing activities with deal teams, back-office, Fund Administrator and Treasury/Cash management
    • Provide quality control with respect to the deal closing process – including collection of required approvals, deal ratings, completion of compliance forms, etc.
    • Participate in projects for automation and process improvements as relates to loan closings and deal activity

    Job Qualifications & Key Attributes

    We are looking for someone with the following qualifications / skills:

    • Bachelors degree
    • Some level of understanding of loans (private or public)
    • Microsoft Office application proficiency (advanced Excel skills a plus)
    • Ability to effectively prioritize to work and adapt in a fast and challenging environment where priorities can change daily
    • Team oriented – works closely with teammates on daily workflow and sharing knowledge with key information with the team
    • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
    • High attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and responsiveness
