Lead Technical Program Manager

Overview
The Lead Technical Program Manager is responsible for planning, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion, for the Vyze platform. Proactively manages the end-to-end delivery of engineering work though the engineering team and all dependent organizations. Reports on progress, ensuring dependencies are covered. Operates between teams and architectures overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery.

Role
* Lead cross-functional efforts to develop technical product strategies and translation into execution plans including a detailed story backlog, system design specifications, and related support requirements
* Manage, maintain, and prioritize JIRA backlog for development
* Lead the creation of user stories, user acceptance criteria, epics, and formal requirements documentation
* Lead the creation of features and user stories in the team and sprint backlogs so that the product effectively addresses user needs while maintaining robustness, redundancy, and scalability
* Partner closely with the Product Manager to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and to align on the vision, program backlog, and roadmap and share these with the team
* Leverage input from Product, Client Operations, Production Support, and Technology teams to prioritize backlog items
* Align stakeholders' business and system requirements to overall client and product strategies
* Collaborate with Engineering/Architecture on the full technical product life cycle, whether decisions require reinvestment, transitioning to maintenance or product retirement
* Identify risks, dependencies and constraints while developing specific plans to mitigate or address these concerns
* Work with Product Management and Customer Success teams to develop an intimate understanding of customer needs, manage stakeholder input, and guide product decisions
* Work with Engineering team to hold daily scrums, bi-weekly sprint planning, bi-weekly backlog groomings, bi-weekly sprint reviews, and bi-weekly sprint demos
* Practice servant leadership while acting as a "team captain" and spokesperson
* Become a subject matter expert for all products to serve as a starting point for requirements generated by Product Management, Client Operations, Production Support and Technology teams
* Work with the team to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
* Work with the team to catalogue and prepare technical debt for resolution
* Lead an agile team to deliver forecasted sprint goals, and solve problems efficiently and completely, according to principals of scrum development
* Focus the team towards building a quality product, and implement or utilize standards and metrics that provide guidance and feedback towards this
* Identify issues or obstacles to department and/or programmer productivity or efficiency to software development management

* Experience working within an Agile team as a Product Owner, Product Manager or team lead
* Highly motivated and solution oriented
* Well-rounded interpersonal skills and experience working with cross functional teams
* Outstanding organizational and communication skills
* Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
* Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing deadlines
* Experience owning a product delivery cycle and delivering software solutions
* Experience with defect management, program management tools like JIRA, ALM, etc
* Organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills
* Listening, oral, written and presentation skills and effective interpersonal skills
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships
Nice to Have
* Knowledge of payments industry, online payments, and wallets
* Experience managing programs for distributed systems, RESTful API, and Reactive Frameworks
* Scrum, Agile or related certification
* Knowledge of Cloud hosting providers (AWS, Azure)
* Interacts with teammates and the larger team in a collaborative way
