Duties: Collaborate with Trade, Legal and Compliance product managers to gather and understand user needs. Build state-of-the-art in-house compliance system that is clustered, stateless, distributed, and highly functioning. Develop RESTful web services and Web Application Interface in Service Oriented Architecture using Java, Spring Boot. Enhance the trading framework by providing insights regarding the introduction of new software products. Provide architecture and design of a self-service platform that processes massive amounts of data. Build technical designs to implement solutions that mitigates risk and enables trade optimization by designing coding algorithms, defining coding standards, outlining guidelines, and designing end-to-end architecture with custom tailored framework components. Utilize Java, C#, Oracle, Timesten, IBM MQ, Python, Bash Scripting, and Autosys to design and develop programs, participate in release, deployment, and delivery preparations; and support ongoing projects as needed. Collaborate with teams that engineer and build software for cloud and infrastructure monitoring. Monitor applications for reliability and performance using Splunk, AppD, Solar winds. Design database architecture for new projects using Oracle SQL & PL/SQL. Create and maintain tables, stored procedures and functions for executing data contracts in accordance with business requirements. Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in the position offered or related senior role. Full term of required experience must include: collaborating with end users to gather user requirements, and developing software solutions that meet business and user needs; developing RESTful web services and Web Application Interface in Service Oriented Architecture using Java, Spring Boot; utilizing Java, C#, Oracle, Timesten, IBM MQ, Python, Bash Scripting, and Autosys to design and develop programs, participate in release, deployment, and delivery preparations; and support ongoing projects as needed; designing database architecture for new projects using Oracle SQL & PL/SQL; designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable load balanced distributed systems; utilizing advanced Multithreading concepts to design highly functioning trading systems and automate retrieval of security and market updates; implementing Java core containers and efficient data structures for processing trades quickly; utilizing Python and Shell scripting to automate jobs for operational efficiency; initiating new Cloud VMs to add extra nodes for load balancing; implementing Splunk to index logs for search capabilities and alerts; and utilizing SolarWinds setup on all hosts to set up alerts and minimize application downtime.
