Bring Your Passion     Financial Analyst - Enterprise FP&A, Expense and Investment Job Description

The Financial Analyst, Enterprise FP&A supports the Finance Manager, Enterprise FP&A to deliver on enterprise wide expense category projects. These projects will focus on standardizing financial planning and analysis activities related to all expense categories in order to achieve efficiency gains throughout TR.

Accountabilities:

  • Maintain a mindset that supports continuous process improvement and elimination of inefficiencies/ redundancies
  • Work closely with Systems team to ensure automation is standardized and fully utilized across the organization
  • Partner with Customer segments,  O&E and TR Enterprise teams
  • Enable Decision support teams to better forecast/plan by providing baseline & other relevant expense trends
  • Responsible for ensuring all forecast/plan information is updated in systems accurately and within the timelines specified in Finance calendar
  • Provide value added analytics to Decision support teams
  • Drive efficiencies by streamlining all processes and analyses related to expenses across TR

Key deliverables:

  • Analyze and understand historical trends for use in trend based modeling projects
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time with accurate and meaningful data
  • Form strong relationship with stakeholders to ensure employment of standardized processes
  • Help drive continuous improvement and transformation across Enterprise FP&A, Expense and Investment team

Skills and Experience:

Education: College degree required.

Experience:  1-3+ years of experience in a Finance role, core FP&A preferred.

Critical experience includes:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, with knowledge of Hyperion a plus
  • Able to work in an agile environment with flexibility to shift focus quickly and seamlessly
  • Strong partnership skills and ability to interact with multiple teams across TR
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Very organized and able to manage his/her own time with competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical, quantitative and investigative skills
