PAR has anopportunity within the Loan Reporting and Operations division at their Dallaslocation. The position will incorporate both accounting and investor reportingfunctions with tremendous growth opportunities for a highly detail oriented andorganized individual
The successfulcandidate will be responsible for investor reporting, corporate accountingfunctions and will have exposure to new client mandates, operations initiativesand products with a rapidly growing Core, Core+ and Value-Add mortgage loan portfolio.The position is responsible for maintaining relationships with many internaland external stakeholders.
Facilitate the receipt, disbursement, andreconciliation of borrower funds during a loan's pre-funding and fundingperiod, working closely with investor/fund administrator, trade management andtreasury teams.
Prepare daily and periodic investment reports,including but not limited to valuations, investor remittance files and otherfinancial statements while coordinating with both internal and external partiesrelated to reporting.
Build and maintain working relationships withexternal parties, including but not limited to fund administrators, financingfacility (Repo) providers and external valuation agencies.
Review bank account reconciliations, investorfiles and wire transfers for accuracy.
Interpreting investment management & servicingagreements, regulations, standard operating procedures and loan documents toensure accounting and reporting requirements are being met. Prepare applicablejournal entries based on reconciliations.
Participate in new investor meetings and beinvolved with creating/outlining project plans, working very closely with highprofile global investors and funds.
Assist in identifying efficiencies, includingprocess automation of reporting and data feeds, writing project plans andtaking the lead in execution of the plans.
Assist with RegAB, SOC1, SOX and otherinternal and external audits
Bachelors Degree in Finance, RealEstate or Accounting is preferred
Minimum of 5 years ofof Accounting or Finance experience is required, preferably in Fixed Income
Must possess strong organizationalskills and high-level attention to detail
Ability to multitask, and prioritizework based on established deadlines
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills(Excel, Word) is required
Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills
Must be able to work independently aswell as effectively collaborate in a team
Ability or eagerness to learn & build/maintainhighly complicated fee models
Excellent interpersonal and customerservice skills are essential
Knowledge of Accounting InformationSystems and SQL experience is a plus
