Our team of critical thinkers partners with groups in all areas of the firm to lead teams, manage processes, and improve digital tools. Our division also provides critical operations and user experience design to ensure business flows smoothly when customers come to us. From day one, team members play a vital role in upholding the three Operations principles of client focus, process innovation, and risk management.


  • Learn and master the day-to-day responsibilities of the originations team.
  • Serve as SME and teacher for sound loan fulfillment and funding practices.
  • Make decisions on difficult customer situations and escalations with well documented rationale.
  • Ensure consistent application of firm wide Risk policy as well as Credit policies and procedures.
  • Manage, develop, and motivate analysts and specialists through effective performance management and guidance.
  • Be visible and accessible in the team to answer questions and monitor productivity.
  • Directly interact with customers, review applications, and act as an escalations point of contact.
  • Produce concise performance reports and analyses for senior management.
  • Maintain and improve controls for operational processes and assist management team in driving positive operational improvements.
  • Leverage multiple data sources to plan, design, develop, test and implement onboarding procedures.
  • Supervise and periodically perform investigations on fraudulent applications and suspicious user activity.
  • Execute weekly/monthly reporting and analysis to explain trends in KPIs including customer quality, customer service, productivity and financial metrics.
  • Identify and develop process enhancements to maximize efficiency of work activities.
  • Partner with credit risk and other stakeholder teams to provide feedback resulting in updates to the decision model and implement ongoing improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • Sound working knowledge of credit trends, tools, best practices
  • Sound working knowledge of Consumer Lending operational and compliance practices
  • Background in statistics or experience applying statistical analysis is a plus
  • Proactively takes initiative to bring solutions to problems without needing to be asked
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing, start-up environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of financial services experience, 4+ years of credit experience in a consumer lending environment
  • Strong analysis skills in with multiple data points both qualitative and quantitative
