BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

The objective of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) within the Spend Management department is to deliver a competitive advantage by:

  2. Deliver world class Third Party Risk and Source to Pay (S2P) Technology Process

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) teams mission is to support the firms One Goldman Sachs forward strategy by proactively identifying, managing, monitoring and reporting key third party risks in order to enable and challenge the businesss risk-based decision making processes.

This Analyst/Associate level professional will work within TPRMs Business Engagement Team (BET), as a primary contact for divisional stakeholders, to drive transparency, consistency and accuracy of TPRM program execution across the divisions through dashboard monitoring and regular or event driven engagement. This TPRM BET professional will also be responsible for leading certain strategic projects and supporting the delivery of key initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the divisions to ensure they comply with the firms Contingent Worker (CW), Inter Affiliate (IA) and Vendor Management (VM) programs
  • Equipping Vendor Relationship Owners, GS Contingent Worker Managers/Contacts and Inter Affiliate divisional co-ordinators with skills, training and awareness on their roles
  • Engaging with Risk Partners across the organization (e.g. compliance, technology), as needed, helping the divisions to understand third party risks
  • Reporting to divisional stakeholders on VM, CW and IA activities, including outstanding risks and ongoing initiatives
  • Evaluating and providing guidance to key divisional stakeholders to support implementation and compliance with the Vendor Management Policy and Standard, and challenging divisional TPRM activities, where appropriate
  • Engage with the divisions to raise awareness of the third party risk management framework as well as develop the risk management skills of all Operations / Securities Vendor Relationship Owners
  • Developing and providing periodic global and regional reporting on vendor landscape, risks, controls, and overall status of divisional execution against the program requirements
  • Support and help lead aspects of global TPRM program initiatives and priorities, working with global program and capability leads, as well as the global team overall
  • Provide input into the TPRM framework design and maintenance
  • Help the global work stream coordinate TPRM input into transformation initiatives (e.g. infrastructure or program transformation)
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert within TPRM

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a risk management, third party risk management, or global risk program design function
  • Possess a strong risk management and control mindset linked with ability to support the delivery of commercial outcomes
  • Highly organized; attention to detail (especially data quality) and excellent follow-through required
  • Analytical thinker, able to quickly assess situations, prioritize and multi-task; Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Confident candidate who is enthusiastic and a team player
  • Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with global colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization
  • MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Exemplary attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
