Front End Developer Dallas/en-US/RyanCareers/job/Dallas/Front-End-Developer_R0006107/applyThe Front End Developer is responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of software applications within Ryan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops user experience/user interfaces using technologies such as Bootstrap and Angular.
  • Experience building enterprise quality market facing products with professional user interfaces.
  • Develops and maintains software applications according to specifications.
  • Maintains source code control system and application software versioning.
  • Maintains strong focus on customer service to all clients.
  • Helps define processes and procedures in the Applications Development area.
  • Participates in cross-training activities as required.
  • Works with external vendors when necessary.
  • Helps document and define requirements for development and enhancement projects.
  • Assists with mentoring and training of junior members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience required and six or more years related applications development experience is preferred.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in JavaScript / Bootstrap / Angular

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid drivers license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but may assign tasks to junior team members at Managers discretion.

Work Environment:

  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with external vendors as necessary.
  • Independent travel requirement: up to 10%.
