We are seeking a San Antonio-based Valuation and Liquidity Specialist to join our Pricing and Valuations team in Global Investment Management Operations.
The Pricing group supports the entire firm focusing on interactions with the Global Fund Accounting area, Client Reporting and Performance, Portfolio Management, and Legal and Compliance. Pricing is responsible for timely and accurate valuations of all assets held in client accounts. They are responsible for the quality control of the data and the distribution of data throughout the firm.
The candidate will be a member of Pricing and Valuations team in Nashville and will support multiple areas of the firm. Assets could be equity, fixed income, or derivative. This person will work directly with the AB Valuation Committee and team management. This role will have elements of pricing, valuation, liquidity, reporting, interface with internal and external auditors. There will also be significant interaction with Global Fund Accounting and the teams supporting this function both internally and externally.

This Analyst will support many core functions at AB including Global Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Legal and Compliance, and Risk Reporting. The data distributed by this team effects Mutual Fund NAV’s, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and risk reporting. There will be a mix of internal and functionally specific industry tools used to perform this function.

This role is new role at AB and will give the applicant an opportunity to help create and establish a new critical function within regulatory guidelines and recommendations. There is regular interaction with senior members of AB as well as the AB Valuation Committee and AB Risk Committee. AB manages most current asset types (Stocks, Bonds, Asset Backed, all types of Over-the-Counter Derivatives) and this role will be working heavily with some of our most challenging assets (Illiquid, distressed, defaulted, etc) and will be working closely with the investment professionals to gather information, value assets, and evaluation third party evaluations.
