The Manager, Knowledge Management is responsible for the Knowledge Management (KM) processes and strategies throughout Sales and Service. This position contributes and participates in the development of the E*TRADE knowledge management strategy, identifies techniques to facilitate knowledge implementation, and provides transfer and maintenance of knowledge within the organizational environment. It will also lead, plan, coordinate, and evaluate all areas of Knowledge Management for effectiveness and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position contributes and participates in the development of the E*TRADE knowledge management strategy, identifies techniques to facilitate knowledge implementation, and provides transfer and maintenance of knowledge within the organizational environment. It will also lead, plan, coordinate, and evaluate all areas of Knowledge Management for effectiveness and efficiency.

Minimum Required Skills:

* Strong understanding of content management and content strategy principles.
* Strategic and creative thinker with extraordinary attention to detail
* Strong interest in and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading, the economy, and investment topics
* Prior management and leadership experience with proven ability to work independently

* Excellent social and communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior leadership as well as our internal and external business partners
* General understanding of company policies and procedures as well as industry regulations and processes

* Accountable and proactive in anticipating situations
* Basic understanding of relationships created by diverse employee groups

* Demonstrated PC skills including familiarity with word processing, MS Office, spreadsheets and database management
* Integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

Minimum Required Education, Certification, Training:

* 3-7 years of experience with content authoring and life-cycle management.
* General understanding of financial industry regulations, natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning
* Proficient with HTML and familiar with AP Stylebook.
* Structured writing experience and certification(s). 
* Project management experience and time management skills.
* BA/BS Degree in Finance, Business Management/Administration, English, Technical Writing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
